SAINTS
Why have humans and their ancestors been living here for 500,000 years? Because it is a wonderful place to be. Saints is a small village
east of Paris, located in the valley of Aubetin (pop. 800+ ), Sunday church, emergency grocery, wonderful bread and pastry maker full of
people and cars on Sunday mornings. Bicycling recommended to discover other villages and valleys. Church dates back to 12th century and
the town itself has been in existance since at least 1200 AD when the population peaked at 5,000. Evidence of prehistoric and Gallic
inhabitants. See the stars like you haven?t in a long, long time.
Saints itself first shows up in the record books in 1107 A.D., although traces of humanity go back an astounding 500,000 years.
The church dates back to about the 11th century as well. There is a little boulangerie in town, supermarkets and a train station
nearby, and much much more...
