ROUEN
Rouen is a nice place to stop on the way to Normandy. It can also be combined with a trip to nearby Chateau Gailliard and Giverny. The cathedral's fame increased thanks to the famous set of paintings by Monet. And, of course, Joan of Arc was burned at the stake in this beautiful Normandy city.
